Invite
Students who meet program eligibility guidelines receive an invitation through a participating school, an approved referral, or RDCF review.
Rainey Day Rising Scholars Program
Recognition, mentorship, and college-readiness support for scholars—from high school through college graduation.
Our promise
We see you. We believe in you. And we will walk with you toward a confident college start.
How it works
The journey begins when a qualified student is invited into Rising Scholars—and continues with family consent, a personalized roadmap, and connected support.
Students who meet program eligibility guidelines receive an invitation through a participating school, an approved referral, or RDCF review.
The student and parent or guardian complete the required consent and enrollment steps, creating separate access to their connected portal experiences.
Scholars follow a grade-based roadmap of courses, workshops, mentoring, deadlines, and resources that grows with them through college.

Mentors wanted
Join the founding mentor cohort and support one scholar with encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance. Approved mentors receive training and complete screening before they are matched.
Built to grow responsibly
The program will begin with a capacity-based pilot. Participation, benefits, and expansion will grow only after partnerships, funding, and results are reviewed.
Read the program FAQsRecognition may begin with a school invitation; active participation begins after the required student and family consent.
If a scholar falls below 3.0, the first step is a private check-in to understand what support may help.
Grants and expanded pathways are added only when RDCF can sustain them.
